Hello, I am Terrae Trent, an accomplished accounting professional with a robust background spanning over a decade. Throughout my career, I have honed my expertise and knowledge in the field.

My journey in accounting began during my high school years, where I drew inspiration from my aunt's success in the business realm. This early influence fueled my ambition to pursue a career in accounting. I took a few introductory accounting courses and obtained a bookkeeping certification. I also laid a solid foundation for my professional growth by earning a bachelor's degree in accounting.

During my extensive corporate tenure, I garnered invaluable experience in various facets of accounting, mastering essential skills such as effective communication, task prioritization, attention to detail, team management, and comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, including intricate financial structures.

Despite the significant milestones achieved in the corporate environment, I came to realize the importance of maintaining a balance between work and personal well-being. The relentless pursuit of climbing the corporate ladder often led to burnout, minimal financial rewards, and a sense of stagnation. This realization prompted me to reassess my priorities and rediscover my passion for accounting.

Motivated by a desire to reclaim ownership of my professional journey and reignite my enthusiasm for the accounting profession, I established Dominion Bookkeeping LLC.
